We carry out audits of member sites, both planned, and unannounced.  Audit performance forms a vital part of an organisation’s ACAD membership and helps improve standards in the asbestos industry.

ACAD’s team of auditors conduct inspections.  As well as identifying areas for improvement, we celebrate members who go above and beyond current standard practice and who work to exemplary standards.

To recognise the efforts of ACAD members who demonstrate the very best standards, ACAD awards a Certificate in Excellence.

In addition, we hold an annual awards event to recognise the organisations which excel in our audit process.

The Excellence in Audit award goes to the organisation which has achieved the highest overall score during our site audits.

The Leading Best Practice award goes to the organisation which is exceeding the legal requirements and displaying the most aspirational standards in their work.

ACAD also offers a Pre Licence Renewal Assessment (PLRA).  During this assessment our experienced team conduct a mock licence interview and report any potential gaps.

During this process we went through 2 levels of assessment from the excellent and very knowledgeable assessor. Initially a full HSE type assessment was undertaken and points for consideration and improvement were logged. Pre License Renewal Assessment

This service helps to identify any issues likely to be covered during a license renewal, this service can also be tailored to new start ups seeking to gain their first license.

Office Audit

Members: £300 + VAT 
Non members: £375 + VAT

This provides an organisation with an in depth overview of their management systems and identifies any potential weakness or shortcoming.
