ACAD will soon announce the shortlist for the Licensed Asbestos Sectors Apprentice of the Year award which will be presented at our 25th Anniversary Annual Awards Dinner and Golf Day on Thursday 7 June. This will be the 3rd Apprentice of the Year Ceremony as ACAD continues to lead the development of the Sector and the implementation of NVQ qualifications that the SAP is built around.
With all standard HSE specified training included within the course, as well as considerable supportive training and the NVQ L2, the SAP is uniquely positioned as the aspirational route to competence and is fully funded by CITB attracting up to £7,650.
If you have a first year operative who you think would benefit from this training, contact ACAD to reserve a place on the next SAP intake which is scheduled for Monday 26 February.
Graham Warren, ACAD Manager commented ‘The SAP stands out proudly across the sector and the associated Apprentice of the Year award has become one of the most sought after accolades for individuals within the Licensed Asbestos Sector. With substantial CITB funding in place along with the quality delivery and NVQ L2 achievement, this route is simply the best I have seen for developing new starters in our sector’.
Candidates must be employed full time and have less than 12 months experience of licensed asbestos work. They cannot have been on a previous construction apprenticeship.
To find out more or to register a candidate simply contact ACAD.
